Jordanian Ministers held a meeting with officials from the World Bank, during which they discussed the country’s draft unified procurement by-law, according to the Ministry of Public Sector Development.
During the meeting, the officials stressed that the amendments agreed upon with WB should be sent to the Legislation and Opinion Bureau for ratification.
It is worth noting that the draft by-law entails unifying procurement systems and government tenders to boost the capacities of public agencies involved in procurement.
